Luscious Pictures is an Australian-based company that specialises in writing, directing and producing film and television.

RICHARD GIBSON - WRITER/PRODUCER/DIRECTOR        

Richard has worked across a wide range of genres including documentaries, commercials, drama, and immersive technology. He is as a member of the American Director’s Guild, the Australian Writers Guild, and a member of the Australian Cinematographers Society.

After rising to fame as an internationally awarded director of advertising and music videos, Richard moved into drama, co-writing and directing the multi-award-winning Academy Award short-listed film, A Message from Fallujah. He has gone on to write original television and feature film screenplays including adaptations of the novels Chameleon by Richard Hains and Rant by Chuck Palahniuk (SE7EN). He currently has a one-hour geopolitical drama series optioned and in development.

Richard was writer and director on Battle of The Coral Sea, and Operation Jaywick for the ANMM, the AE2 story for The Australian War Memorial and James Cameron - Challenging the Deep, for The Avatar Alliance. Richard was Cinematographer on the acclaimed documentary series, Afghanistan – The Australian Story, and was post producer on three high-rating documentary series for The Discovery Channel.

Richard is currently working on a socio-political documentary and has two feature film scripts in development.
